Provincial Police in the Rainy River District say Highway 602 is still closed following a train derailment at the crossing south of Emo.
OPP also say the precautionary evacuation they initially held has been lifted and residents are able to return home.
The evacuation was originally in place within an 800 meter radius from the crossing as a precautionary measure.
Police also say it is still unknown when Highway 602 at the crossing will be open and usable for the public.
