In loving memory of William (Bill) Fishwick who passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2020.
Bill enjoyed 60 years with the love of his life, Joan and is also survived by his adoring children; Brenda Rustad (Brad), Blake Fishwick (Yvonne), Stephen Fishwick (Annette), Becky Fishwick (Jay) – Grandchildren; Rocky, Sheena, Brooke, Brendan, Stevie, Destiny, Timmy and Great Grandchildren; Kaia and Ally. He is also survived by sisters; Betty Thompson and Bonnie Robinson (Larry).
Bill was born on April 16, 1937 in Dryden, Ontario and enjoyed 21 years of retirement after working for the Board of Education for 25 years.
Bill provided joy wherever he was and was known for his sense of humour, quick wit, big heart and for his love of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He loved animals, country music, and a good game of crib. Bill could often be found at Blue Lake over the years where he enjoyed family time. He was instantly loved by all who would come in contact with him.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Pettinger and medical staff at Dryden Regional Health Centre for their support and care.
A Memorial Funeral Service to Celebrate Bill’s life will be held Friday February 21st, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Jake Letkeman officiating. Interment will be in the Dryden Cemetery at a later date.
