Lac Seul Police are reporting charges in relation to impaired operation of a snowmobile.
Police say on Thursday at around 11am they saw a suspicious snowmobile in Frenchman’s Head while on patrol.
Police then say they conducted a traffic stop and determined the operator of the machine was impaired from alcohol.
Lac Seul Police say they have charged the 71 year old man from Canoe River with Operation while impaired and operation while impaired with blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
The accused will appear in Lac Seul court on March 25th.
Lac Seul Police remind residents during the long weekend to drive snowmobiles sober and wear approved safety equipment.
