Fort Frances Lakers forward Kyle Uzelman has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
In four games, the 20-year-old from Sherwood Park, Alberta collected points in each of them help Fort Frances go 2-1-0-1.
Uzelman recorded three goals and a pair of assists, including a game winning marker against his former club, the Red Lake Miners.
He is playing at a point-per-game pace right now.
Uzelman sits just nine points shy of 100 with 34-goals and 57-assists in 86 contests.
Justin Pitari of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs, Bryce Krauter of the Red Lake Miners and Cochenour’s Cody Bruchkowski of Thunder Bay also received consideration.
