Provincial Police in Red Lake are reporting drug charges after a search warrant in Balmertown.
Police say the warrant was executed by the Community Street Crime Unit along with the Kenora Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Dryden and Kenora CSCU, and Provincial Operations Intelligence Bureau.
Police then say during the search they located a quantity of cocaine with a street value of around $7,000 as well as a small quantity of Canadian currency.
OPP say as a result of investigations they have arrested and charged 24-year-old James McKee of Balmertown for Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by Crime under $5,000, and Failing to Comply with Probation Order.
He will appear in Red Lake Court on March 12th to answer to the charges.
