The first half of the school year is coming to a close and the music class at Dryden High School is ready to show-off their skills.
“Music Through The Ages” is being held Wednesday, January 22nd at 7:00pm at the Centre.
The performance features the grades 9 and 11/12 concert bands.
Ronnie Ross, Lyss McCready and EmJ Cook were guests on the CKDR Morning Show today (Tuesday) to promote the event.
McCready says “This is kind of an opportunity for the classes to demonstrate how much we’ve learned and how hard we’ve grown as musicians.”
Cook says you will hear a variety of tunes.
“Selections from Mamma Mia and an Earth, Wind and Fire dance mix. And we have a mass band at the end performing songs such as the Avengers theme.”
Tickets are only $5 and are available at the door,
All proceeds support the Music Department at DHS.
