A new interactive exhibit has been unveiled by the Dryden Community Palliative Care Committee.
The “Reflection Room” helps in the grieving of residents and families.
It’s taking place starting today and lasting until February 12th at the Hospital Quiet Room/Chapel as well as the Dryden Public Library.
Officials say the “Reflection Room” offers a personal and comforting place for storytelling, and for reading stories of others.
The goal is to stimulate further thought and discussion about dying and death.
Officials also say that while a majority of Canadians say they are comfortable discussing death, only about one quarter of us have made personal plans for end of life care.
