A split on the court for the Dryden Eagles at home yesterday against Fort Frances.
Both high school Junior teams posted victories.
The Girls Volleyball team won in straight sets (25-16, 25-15), while the Boys Basketball team held on for a 49-41 victory over the Muskies in a physical match-up.
It was a balanced attack for the Eagles with three players hitting double digits.
Dom Morriseau led the attack with 12 points, while Evan Cook added 11.
Carver Trist returned to the line-up to post 10 points.
It was a classic match-up in the Senior Girls Volleyball game and when the dust settled Fort Frances came out on top with a 2 sets to 1 win over Dryden. (25-22, 18-25, 25-23)
The Eagles Senior Boys Basketball team dropped a 61-35 decision in a high tempo game.
Luke Turcotte led the scoring for Dryden with 8 points.
