The search for gold in northwestern Ontario continues in 2020.
Nuinsco Resources is off the mark with an announcement of plans to conduct drilling on its Sunbeam Gold property, located about 30 kilometres northeast of Atikokan.
There was a gold mine in that area in 1905, but no exploration has taken place before the company acquired the site in 2017.
Officials say drilling will begin as soon as it can.
