Phase two of the work to rule campaign in local public elementary schools is now underway.
As part of the heightened job action, members of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario won’t plan any new field trips this year, collect money for school based activities or serve as a teacher in charge when administrators aren’t in the school.
The move comes exactly two weeks after the union launched phase one of their work-to-rule campaign.
That saw instructors refrain from taking part in any professional learning offered by either the school board or Ministry of Education.
The changes don’t impact high schools.
