A product of Cochenour has been named SIJHL/Play It Again Sports Player of the Week.
Thunder Bay North Stars forward Cody Bruchkowski has received the honour for a second time this season.
The 20-year-old had a game to remember against the Dryden GM Ice Dogs where he scored five goals, including the game winner.
The last player to score five in a game was Jacen Bracko of the Ice Dogs back on March 8th, 2018.
Bruchkowski also scored a late shorthanded goal in a loss to Dryden GM.
He currently leads all skaters in goals, power play markers, hat tricks and points.
Justin Pitari of the Ice Dogs and Red Lake goalie Zach Willms also received consideration.
