Recently I fundraised in hopes of reaching a personal goal: to own a top of the line Spider-Man suit. A dream I had since I was a little boy. A dream I thought would never come true.
This summer supporters helped make my dream reality donating 3 times the amount needed to purchase a suit! I was and still am amazed by the generosity. The excess funds raised – 13-hundred dollars – went to the DREAM Committee who continue to do great work refurbishing the Dryden Arena.
It took over 3 months for the Raimi Spider-Man suit and Faceshell to be manufactured to size in Thailand by The RPC Studio. It was well worth the wait!
While the days of summer and fall 2019 slowly went by I started to formulate a plan on how to thank my supporters of the campaign and how to “pay it forward” with ‘Spider-Dad’ involved. It was simple. Let YOU decide!!
If you live within Dryden limits I’ll help you plan but you decide where Spider-Dad (the radio guy) appears and for what. We’ll work out the details together!
My first appearance in the new Spidey suit was during the presentation of the excess funds to the DREAM Committee.
Then this week I was invited to surprise a group of administration staff with Dryden-Sioux Lookout Community Living who had just finished a huge project for the agency. The admin staff (I’m sure you know some of them) seen in these pictures are the true Super Heros making the Universe better for the staff and the people Dryden-Sioux Lookout Community Living supports!
We salute and applaud them in their continuous efforts to make others lives better!
As you might be able to tell from these pictures of the admin staff, I think they had a pretty good time meeting me…uhhh….I mean Spider-Dad! Needless to say the smiles and laughter brought out during the visit carried over to the guy under the mask as well!
So what is next for this Radio-Active Spider-Man?!? Well as I said earlier – that could be up to you! Have a suggestion? Let me know!

Sometimes dreams take time to become reality. Sometimes a lot of time – like 4 or 5 decades. And sometimes when little boys become big men….they suddenly get little all over again when big dreams come true.
Guess I should do a radio show now. That was my second dream. It became reality….a while ago.
