A shipment of fake smartwatches has been seized at the border by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Almost 20,000 watches were found in a rail container that was intercepted while crossing into International Falls from Fort Frances.
Border officials say the shipment violated intellectual property rights regulations.
On the market, the watches would have fetched more than $590,000.
