The PC government is opening up Ontario Provincial Parks for free for members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Past or present members no longer have to pay for daily use of our parks.
Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks Jeff Yurek says it’s a token of appreciation for the sacrifices they’ve made.
In January, the Ford government allowed Veterans and active Armed Forces members living in Ontario to fish without a licence.
“Free access to our beautiful provincial parks is just one way our government is supporting and thanking veterans and members of the Canadian Armed Forces”
