A Fort Frances man is dead after being struck by a transport on Highway 11/17, west of Thunder Bay.
Provincial Police say the collision happened around 5:30 Tuesday morning as the man was walking on the Trans-Canada Highway in the Fraser Road area.
39 year old Joel Walton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway had to be closed for six hours as police cleared the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
