There was a slight drop in voter turnout for Monday night’s federal election across Canada.
Elections Canada says about 66% of eligible voters cast ballots.
That’s about 2.5% lower than in 2015.
Here in the Kenora riding voter turnout was 59.76%, a number that’s down significantly from the 72% turnout in 2015, but about on par with what the riding saw in 2011.
A total of 17,890,264 people cast ballots across the country, including 27,304 regionally.
