Dryden Police are reporting multiple recent charges in the city.
Police say an incident occurred on October 18th where a 58-year-old man was in custody and assaulted two officers and attempted to assault a civilian Special Constable as well.
Dryden Police say Bradly Derek Rutter of Dryden faces two counts of Assaulting a Peace Officer and Uttering Death Threats to police and he remains in custody.
In another incident on October 15th, Dryden Police say they received a call from a clothing store on King Street at 10:30am about a man stealing from the store.
Police say at around 10:55am they located the suspect at the Dryden Library and as the officer tried to arrest the suspect a fight broke out where the officer was assaulted and the suspect fled on foot.
Dryden Police say the foot chase continued into the pedestrian overpass where the accused jumped from a second flight of stairs and continued to run.
Police say just after 11am they arrested the suspect in the CP Rail Yard located on Queen Street.
Dryden Police then say 35-year-old Keith Andrew Abraham faces multiple charges including Assaulting a Peace Officer, Resisting a Peace Officer, Failing to Comply with Recognizance, Theft Under $5000 and entering on land which a line of work is situated.
Police say an officer sustained injuries from the incident and the accused is set to appear in Bail Court on Wednesday.
