Scheer notes, ” a more vigilant immigration policy does not mean turning a blind eye to refugees fleeing violence and persecution.”
Elsewhere Liberal leader Justin Trudeau says he will not remove a party candidate in B.C. who considers himself pro-life.
He says “obviously we will be having conversations with that candidate” since Trudeau has come down strongly on the side of “a woman’s right to choose.”
