The Dryden Eagles High School Football team has an unexpected week off.
The final home game for the Eagles scheduled for Friday has been cancelled.
Their opponent, the Daniel McIntyre Maroons, have forfeited their remaining two games of the season.
That means Dryden’s record will improve to 4-2, moving them into a first place tie for the time being.
The Eagles will close out the season next Friday in Winnipeg against Crocus Plains.
