Rainfall dominated the weather picture in northwestern Ontario in the month of September.
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says the Dryden area reached at total for the month of 198.7-millimetres, more than double the yearly average of 88.9-millimetres.
He notes we had a total of 20 days of rain in September.
Laidlaw says the biggest rain day was on the 12th with 34.3-millimetres.
The record was September 20th, 1997 with 69.6-millimetres of rain.
Ignace topped all communities in total rainfall.
The average temperature was 12.1-degrees, just above average.
Laidlaw says the warmest day was on the 16th at 28.5, while the coldest day was September 28th when we saw a touch of frost at -0.1.
He notes the temperature has been gradually climbing in September over the past few years.
