A new Dryden Oldtimers Hockey season is fast approaching.
The league opens play on October 15th, with the Last Chance Tournament scheduled for March 27th to 29th.
Players are now being accepted for the men’s league and anyone over the age of 35 can take part.
League President Paul Darling says “This is a non-contact league, 55 minute games played with two qualified referees. Regular season standings are not kept as the league concludes with the Last Chance Tournament.”
“The league is open to all skill levels, and indeed includes levels from former professionals to eager beginners.”
Anyone interested in playing is urged to contact Paul Darling at 220-1145 or pauldarling@gmail.com
There are teams looking for players.
The cost is roughly $350 for a 40 game season, depending on sponsorship commitments.
Games are Tuesday and Thursday between 8:30pm-10:00pm, with five games per season on Wednesday’s at 9:30pm.
