Dryden Police are reporting a physical assault with a hockey stick in the city.
Police say on Sunday at around 9:30pm they were called to a disturbance at an apartment building on Van Horne Avenue.
Dryden Police say when they arrived they learned about a fight between two men where the accused struck the victim with a hockey stick.
Police say 30-year-old Joel Grant Councillor of Dryden has been charged with assault with a weapon.
Dryden Police also say the victim was treated at the hospital for minor injuries and released.
Police add that it was an isolated incident and no other injuries are reported.
