Climate change is real and we could be facing extinction in the next 12 years.
That’s the assertion from activist Ann Cognito, who is currently on a 3,300 kilometre journey to Ottawa to raise awareness of the crisis.
Cognito doesn’t believe the issue will gain any traction during the Federal election campaign.
“And that’s just irresponsible and inexcusable of the government and of media.”
She stresses climate change needs to be a priority topic and suggests political leaders are doing everything in the power to ignore it.
