A bit of a reprieve for anyone looking for a bed overnight in Kenora.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford has announced the Kenora District Services Board has made beds available at the Knox Shelter for the next week.
As well, additional beds will be available at the Kenora Fellowship Centre.
The shelter and service hub was scheduled to close its doors yesterday (Monday) with local service organizations given 45 days to come up with a long term solution.
Last week, local agencies got together to start working on a plan for the Service Hub and overnight shelter.
