Applications for the next round of retail Cannabis stores in Ontario are now being accepted.
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario began accepting those early this morning (Wednesday) and will continue until Friday night at 7:00pm central.
Fifty new stores, to be determined by a lottery, will be permitted to open this October.
However, none will be located within the Dryden, Sioux Lookout or Red Lake districts.
The province is also granting eight additional licenses to First Nations communities on a first come-first serve basis.
