A Vancouver based mining company continues to do work around the Madsen mine site.
Pure Gold Mining is pleased with the results they are finding.
The company has been conducting surface drilling in the area and in a recent feasibility study they estimate they could operate the mine for 12 years with an 800 tonne per day underground mining operation.
In a release, President and CEO of Pure Gold Darin Labrenz says “With this understanding of the scale and tenor of gold mineralization firmly established, we are now drilling to expand and define this extensive gold system.”
Pure Gold also recently signed a project agreement with Wabauskang and Lac Seul First Nations before conducting the drilling.
