Red Lake has laid down the gauntlet and now it’s time for Dryden to respond.
The weekend Torch Run and dunk tank in Red Lake was a huge success according to organizers.
A total of $5,153 was raised for the Special Olympics.
Red Lake OPP Staff Sergeant Norlock and Provincial Constable Holt both took part in the dunk tank.
Next up is Dryden on Saturday and the event is being hosted by the municipal Police Service.
You can walk, run, or ride your bike all in support of Special Olympic athletes.
Anyone is invited to attend and there will be a barbecue, games, horse rides and activities to follow.
