The Dryden Regional Health Centre has officially announced their new CEO.
The hospital’s Board of Directors have announced that Doreen Armstrong-Ross has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer.
Armstrong-Ross has worked with the hospital as the Chief Nursing Executive and Vice President of Patient Care Services and has overseen all hospital and clinical services.
In a release the Health Centre says that Armstrong-Ross brings strength and leadership in collaboration and partnership with the local district, and regional partners, as well as health system planning and integration initiatives.
She has also been responsible for services provided at the Dryden Area Family Health Team and Mental Health and Addictions Services.
Armstrong-Ross says that she is thrilled and ready to take on the role.
Board Chair Judi Green says “Recognizing the consistent change within the health care sector, the board knows that Doreen will successfully lead our organization and effectively represent the health care needs of our community across the district, as well as regionally and provincially.”
