A Special Air Quality Alert is once again in affect across much of northwestern Ontario.
Smoke from forest fires in the north continues to descend on our area.
Individuals may experience symptoms such as increased coughing, throat irritation, headaches or shortness of breath.
Children, seniors, and those with cardiovascular or lung disease, such as asthma, are especially at risk.
However, Environment Canada and Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says south winds later in the day should blow the smoke away.
