Contact North is starting to prepare for the next school year.
The distance education provider for the region is coming off one of its most successful years with some 800,000 program inquiries.
President and Chief Executive Officer Maxim Jean-Louis says their goal is to offer more programs that lead to jobs.
“The whole idea of Contact North is to help residents in remote and small communities get access to post-secondary education”.
He adds the agency also wants to work with the government to help the unemployed and those living on social insurance get employment.
