Provincial Police are treating the death of an American man in Quetico Provincial Park as not suspicious.
OPP were called to Saganaga Lake near the Cache Bay Ranger Station on June 15th in the afternoon.
Officers were notified of a man who was in distress and receiving CPR.
OPP say 71-year-old Craig Sicard of Minnetonka, Minnesota was pronounced dead at the scene.
First responders from the Cook County Sheriff’s Department in Grand Marais, Minnesota, also attended because of the proximity of the incident to the U.S.
