Now that the provincial budget has received royal assent, Ontario’s Finance Minister is sharing the highlights.
In an exclusive interview with CKDR News, Vic Fedeli stressed there is a lot to look forward to including dental coverage for 100,000 low-income seniors and help with child care for low to middle income families.
Fedeli adds low income earners won’t have to pay provincial taxes.
Fedeli says there is also $1.3-billion more for health care and $700-million more for education.
He calls it a “massive increase investment”.
Fedeli says they are also working hard to pay off the province’s debt.
He notes “We are now going to have central procurement, which means we are going to have a centralized buying system. We know that will save us $1-billion.”
Today marks the one-year anniversary since our government took office and ended 15 years of reckless Liberal spending and mismanagement. Ontario is back on track with over 190,000 new jobs created since last June. #PromisesKept pic.twitter.com/i063ztaxZy
