In loving memory of Thomas Harold Rob (Harry) who passed away peacefully on October 22, 2018.
Harry is survived by his loving sons Marten and Paul (Tammy) and many nieces and nephews.
Harry was predeceased by his loving wife Betty, mother Anne, father John Sr. and brothers John Jr. (Gerry) and Charles (Betty).
Harry was born in Angusville, Manitoba on June 11, 1921. After moving from Manitoba the family homesteaded south of Quibell, currently owned by great nephew Daniel Rob. The family purchased the farm on the West Road where Harry continued to live until July of this year.
Harry and Betty got married in 1963 and lived on the Dairy Farm where they spent most of their days together. After retiring from farming, Harry spent many years working in the bush with Paul, trapping and being taxi driver to local seniors.
Harry loved the outdoors, especially fishing. You could always tell where the fish were biting by the old man going around in circles in the same spot with his little white dog.
A Funeral Service to Celebrate Harry’s life will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Wayne Toews officiating. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date. Reception to follow the service at the Happy-Go-Lucky Seniors Centre in Vermilion Bay.
