Richard lan Hales

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Richard lan Hales on Aug. 26, 2017, in the Toronto East GeneraJ hospital, from
Cancer at age 52.
Richard (Ric) was born Oct. 15,1964 in Dryden, Ont. He was schooled in Dryden and worked as a Cook and Kitchen help in many of our Dryden restaurants. Later on he moved to Toronto, and worked in telemarketing and sales, as well as the food industry in various ways.
Richard leaves behind, two sisters, Lois (Doug) Finiayson, of Eton Rugby, and Elaine Hales of Thunder Bay, Ont, and one brother, Howard Hales of Dryden, Ont. Also left behind are one nephew and 3 nieces, and one great niece and 4 great nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Richard Hales in 1985 and his mother Edna Hales in 2009.
Respecting Richard’s wishes there will be no funeral or visitation as it was his intention to donate his body to science.
