Its with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Susan Lynne Swanson (Weaver) on May 28, 2016. Susan was born in Dryden ON on May 16, 1959 to Clayton and Betty Weaver.
On February 16, 1980 Susan married the love of her life and high school sweetheart Greg Swanson.
Susan will always be remembered for her contagious laugh, her love of a good water fight, her raspberry candies and her generous heart. Her greatest passion in life were her children and her granddaughters and along with her surrogate grandchildren.
Susan is survived by her husband Greg, her children Marcie (Freeman) Falloon, Brittany (Brien) Morrissey and Brendin Swanson. Her grandchildren Amelia, Lila and Eva Falloon and Nora Morrissey. Her mother Betty Weaver, Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law John and Judy Swanson, brother David (Sally) Weaver, brother in law Leonard Swanson, sister in law Marilyn (Wayne) Ortiz and numerous nieces and nephews that all held a special place in her heart. Susan was predeceased by her father Clayton Weaver.
A memorial service in her honour was held in Leduc AB on June 3, 2016 at the St. Paul Anglican Church.
A Memorial Funeral Service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held Friday, July 15th at 1:00 p.m. in St Luke’s Anglican Church with Father Dick Kennedy officiating. Interment of ashes will be at a later date.
