A large, two storey garage has been destroyed following an early Monday fire in Dryden.
Crews were called to the blaze on Zealand Road, just off Airport Road around 6:30am.
The Dryden Fire Service says 26-volunteer firefighters managed to save an adjoining garage and home as well as stop the spread of the flames to nearby trees.
Oxdrift and Wabigoon firefighters, Dryden Police, Union Gas, Hydro One and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry provided support.
No one was injured.
The fight was a difficult one for firefighters as they spent some seven hours in extreme heat and high humidity.
The fire scene has now been turned over to insurance company contractors.
