‘McCarthy In The Morning’
Owwwwwwwww-eeeeeeeeee!!!
Played inside with my foster dog Bodie last night. He has many toys. One of them is heavy weighted hard rubber and hard plastic that he can carry around. Well he picked it up last night, came running with it across the living room floor towards me and proceeded to drop it on my big toe!!!! Yiiiiiiikes!!! I screamed in ‘immense pain’ as I grabbed my foot immediately. The wife came running out of the kitchen with a look of concern and said ‘What’s wrong?! What happened??’ As I told her I swear I could see her look of concern start to change to the look of a smirk/smile and I’m pretty sure she giggled as she turned and went back in to the kitchen. I suggested she should kiss my toe better. She didn’t.
Guess it wasn’t her…’jam’?
Why are these types of incidents kind of funny to bystanders? Is it viewed as being clumsy and therefore laughable?
Having something fall on your toes or stubbing your toe on something can be very painful but funny as well?
