Survivors of sexual abuse at the hands of Ralph Rowe need an apology.
That’s according to Kiiwetinoong MPP Sol Mamakwa.
He says he met recently with some of the survivors and says an apology from the Anglican Church and Scouts Canada is needed.
Mamakwa feels no amount of compension with erase the pain, but the survivors of the sexual assaults need the apology in their healing journey.
Rowe is a former Anglican minister, OPP officer and Scout leader who worked in northwestern Ontario in the ’70’s and mid ’80’s and was convicted on several counts of sexual assault.
