Norman Fobister ‘Moose’
June 5, 1963 – February 17, 2024
Norman Fobister, a resident of Grassy Narrows First Nation passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 17, 2023.
He was predeceased by his parents Alex and Mary Louise Fobister, his siblings Dennis, Ricky, Roy, Virginia, Nora-ann and Philip, he is also predeceased by his aunts and uncles Josephine, Gabe, Mary Julia and Edna, his cousins Gwendolyn, Bridgette, Felix, Terry and Jardine, as well as nieces and nephews Olivia, Geronimo and precious.
He is survived by his brother Harry, aunts and uncles Bill, John, David and Sandra Sneaky, Clara K., Rita, Susan, Evelyn Petiquan, sister in law Veronica, cousins George, Ian, Keith, Kathyann, Karen, Randy, Gabe Jr., Helen, Elaine, Wendy, Bruce, Travis, June, Harrison, Bill Jr., Brian, Tyrone, Aaron, Corrina and Adeline Paypom, nieces and nephews Lorenda, Valerie, Burton, Mitchell, Farrah, Trisha, Rinalda, Angela, Denise, Leonard, Krista, Roseanna, Nora-ann, Parker and Leona, as well as his grandchildren Alyssa, Josiah, Colby, Carmen, Virginia, Chris, Rolena, Athena, Aries, Jade, Gordenia, Pierre, Zachary, Aurora, Alex, Abigail, Florence, Shanea, Bobby, Eli Jr., Alexia, Shay-lyn, Logan, Ferrari, Mercedes, Valencia, Burton Jr., Delana, Gyles, Enzo, James Jr., Christopher, Dennis, April, Tony, Marybelle, Kaysin and many others too numerous to mention.
A wake service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:00am at the Trappers Building, Grassy Narrows, Ontario. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00am at the Trappers Building with cremation to follow.
