William (Bill )Mckinstry born in 1915 in Assiniboia Sask. moving to Dryden in 1937 following crop failures. Here he met his partner for life Gertrude Neely , working as a mechanic until 1942 when he joined the army . There he wrenched on Jeeps and Harley Davidson Motor cycles, saying they would do road test on the beach when the tide was out.
After the war he founded Standard Motors now Mckinstry Chrysler.
He was a fun loving, kind, happy person and loved so much by his family.
