Michelle Elizabeth Papineau
With broken hearts, Michelle’s family said their final goodbye to her on December 7, 2022.
She will always remain a much-loved daughter to her mother Melda Bruyere (Bob); mother to Chelsea and Kayley Pielou; grammy to Nat and Angus; sister and auntie to Laurie Papineau and Marie ( Mike) Bouchard and their families, as well as a beloved niece and friend to many.
Michelle began her circle of life in the US, before moving to Dryden Ontario where she spent a big part of her childhood. At an early age, it became obvious that she had a brilliant mind, natural talent for anything she put her back into and a love of nature. She moved west to start her family and eventually settled in the Campbell River area of Vancouver Island to remain near her daughters.
Michelle’s journey has been a difficult one, with battles to fight and illness to deal with, but she continued to love fiercely, ponder intensely and revel in the absolute beauty of the forests and ocean around her. She found great solace in these things, as well as the very special bond she shared with her mother.
She also enjoyed the company of the many people she met along the way, who will hopefully remember her for her bright smile and amazingly strong spirit. We will all miss you Michelle. Angels on your pillow ❤️
