Get ready to hear Daimon Gardner’s name called at the NHL Draft.
The hockey star from Eagle Lake First Nation has been ranked 97th by NHL Central Scouting for North American players.
Gardner is coming off a brilliant year at Warroad High School in Minnesota where he recorded 45 goals, 38 assists, and 83 points in only 30 games.
He went on to split time with the Omaha Lancers and Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League where he had a total of 4 points in 14 games.
The 18-year-old is listed at 6’4 and 200 pounds.
The draft is July 7 and 8 at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Gardner has committed to Clarkson University.
