Ruth Van Koughnet
June 16, 1933 – April 29, 2022
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Reverend Naboth Manzongo officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dryden Cemetery.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Susan and son Daniel (Danny). She was predeceased by her husband Clifford and brother Ray.
Ruth was loved by all who met her. Her children constantly received words of compliments about their mother. When you first met Ruth, you noted a pretty woman and then her charm would be next. She was a warm, generous woman. She lived a life of integrity, ethics and honesty. Ruth was a wonderful role model for all those who knew her. She was a bright star who will be missed. Sadly she step out of this world too soon. May Ruth return to the Manitoba prairies under the wide blue sky she so dearly loved.
A Private Family Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Donations may be made the Canadian Council of the Blind, Canadian Cultural Society of the Deaf, Canadian Wildlife Federation, or MADD Canada through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Avenue, Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
