
A statement win for the Dryden Eagles Girls High School Hockey team.
The Eagles downed the Muskies 4-2 Monday night in Fort Frances.
Dryden jumped out to a 2-0 lead before the Muskies tied things but the Eagles would score two in the first four minutes of the third to secure the victory.
Riah Compardo scored the game winner, while Saige McLeod, Sophie Armit and Meagan Lundmark also found the back of the net.
Sydney Cloutier picked up the win.
In other action, Sioux North fell to the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints 5-2.
On the Boys side, the Dryden Eagles didn’t have enough players to make the trip to Fort Frances and forfeited their match-up with the Muskies.
