A quick start for the Dryden Eagles Junior Girls Basketball team propelled them to their first win of the season Wednesday in Sioux Lookout.
The Eagles started with a 10-0 lead and were up 24-5 at the half en route to a 44-13 victory over the hometown Sioux North Warriors.
Jordyn Robichaud led the way with 14 points, while Mackenzie Harrington added 8.

The Senior Girls were also victorious in their first game of the year.
Sioux North bounced back with two wins on the Volleyball court.
The Seniors won in four sets (25-22, 17-25, 25-23, 25-21).
The Warriors took three sets from the Eagles in Junior play.
