The Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie fundraising campaign was a huge success in Dryden.
A total of $8,383 one-dollar cookies were sold between September 13 to 19.
Proceeds this year support the Dryden Native Friendship Centre and Making Connections for Children and Youth.
A number of businesses accepted the cookie challenge and Domtar purchased the most.
The company received a quilt made by elder volunteers at the Friendship Centre as a result.
A number of community volunteers helped decorate the tasty treats this year including the Dryden Native Friendship Centre, staff at the Dryden Fire Department, Dryden Police Service, Dryden O.P.P., Kenora District Services Board and Homeward Bound.
