It was a huge hit last year and this year promises to be bigger and better.
Dryden Fall Fest is making a return to the Laura Howe Marsh October 2, 16 and 31.
October 2: Harvest Hay Day- 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Including the Children’s Treats and Trees Walk)
October 16: Laura Howe Haunt- 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Starting at Government Dock field)
October 31: Trunk-or-Treat- 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Laura Howe Marsh parking lot)
Laina Smith was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday to promote Fall Fest and the contests leading up to it.
“The Gourd Goals Pumpkin contest. ‘Live Here Like You Mean It’ is bringing it back. If you grew a beauty pumpkin this year or love to carve or paint pumpkins. Bring your submissions to the Harvest Hay Day for judging. Photo submissions are also welcome for anyone not able to attend in person.”
Smith adds, “The local Fall Photo contest. Submit your photos by October 20 to laurahowehaunt@gmail.com with your name and photo location to enter. Winners in four different categories will be showcased on our website and social media as well as receive a prize.”
Smith states, “We are doing a yard decor tour again. It was super popular last year. So, if you’re proud of your outdoor decorations, submit your address to show them off by October 20 and we are hiring My Lift to run the tour for anyone unable to drive it.”
