The Liberal candidate for the Kenora riding believes he’s the perfect fit to be our next representative in Ottawa.
David Bruno says he jumped into the federal election race because of his love for this area.
“It’s great to love and promote something that is your own. I’m super proud to represent the Liberal party in our riding. I think I am going to do a great job. In fact, I have a pretty good feeling of what constituents are looking for. I’ve got the skill sets that they expect.”
He says one of his key campaign priorities will be the completion and expansion of four-laning Highway 17.
“I want to sit down with the stakeholders involved with the twinning of the Trans-Canada. I want to sit down, talk it out, talk it through, what is the hold-up? Let’s see if we can map out a new direction forward and get it done. That’s basically what it comes down too.”
Bruno outlines another one of his campaign pledges.
“High-speed internet broadband that I want our constituents to be accessed to. Now that we’re here in the 21st century, there is just no question that technology is everything and I do not want our constituents to be left behind.”
