Muskrat Dam First Nation is getting new ambulance thanks to a Thunder Bay company.
Buhler-Moore First Aid Services coordinated the donation of a decommissioned ambulance from the Rainy River EMS.
The ambulance will be used at the community’s treatment centre.
Training for a first response team will begin soon, and they will be able to use the ambulance to provide emergency care in the First Nation.
The company adds it also wants to help other communities with similar projects.
