Winter is hitting Northwestern Ontario hard, leaving the region under an extreme cold warning.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Crawford Luke says we could be experiencing temperatures feeling like minus 40 for at least the next few days.
“Maybe there’s some hope later in the week, but this is probably going to go down as the coldest week of the year, or at least it’s taking a good run at that title,” Luke says.
He adds to bundle up and stay safe by limiting your time outside.
